Nick thought of the name one day and liked it because:
1. Our names are in it. (Kind of)
2. It rhymes with Titanic, which makes us sound strong and unsinkable. (Like almost every ship except the Titanic)
3. We love spending our days e-mailing theaters, websites, and festivals, telling them they got our capitalization wrong.
Brian’s dad commonly pronounces it Brit-anick or Britannica. Don't feel bad if you do too. It's completely our fault.
Very much yes. We love doing live theater, and we perform our own sketches, Stand-up comedy, one-act plays, and improv, mostly at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in New York City.

So far all of our sketches have been filmed using the Panasonic AG-DVX or the Panasonic HVX and edited on Final Cut Pro. For sound we use a boom mike that's either taped to something nearby or held by one of the actors who is onscreen. All of our actors are good at multitasking.
The two of us (Brian and Nick) try to do as much of everything as possible, but we're often helped by our extremely talented friends. Only the two of us write. Brian is in charge of directing the camera and editing, while Nick works primarily with the actors. That being said, we make sure we both agree on any detail before moving forward with it, which can be a long, but rewarding process.

The song is called "Far Far Away" and it's by a Christian Ska band called Five Iron Frenzy. We found the song by accident in high school and since then we've loved that chorus, playing it at parties to both the joy and chagrin of our friends. People either love it or hate it. We don't necessarily support any message in the song. We're Bokonists.
